Thank you 2018

As we say goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019 my hope for each & every one of you is to spend a few moments reflecting on everything we have been through in the last year & draw strength from what once was & what will come to be.

Whether 2018 had your back or whether the last 365 days acted like a relentless bully toward you, the fact of the matter is you survived & that should also be celebrated and not overlooked.

We are a collection of all of our experiences, feelings, tragedies, challenges, circumstances, every flutter in our stomach when we fall for someone new or the painful shatter of our hearts when we lose someone we loved dearly.  Every day we live through is a part of our story whether we are ready to talk about it or not. You are a miraculous book & when you are ready so many people will be waiting for you to open up.

My hope for everyone is that no matter if you are happy or sad to see 2018 go, that  you can see how the lessons we were faced with this last year are ones that we can learn from even if we are feeling like stubborn students. We all have room for improvement, we all can learn something from each other & even ourselves as long as we spend some time opening our hearts and ears to what is being said.

In closing, I welcome you to invite 2019 with open arms, remain open to the many opportunities that life can present to us. Don’t forget about 2018 or any other previous years that brought you to this moment and more importantly don’t forget how incredibly resilient you are to have made it this far.

Love,

Deanna
